Winter photos. Full Moon at the end of January appears a glowing globe of ice cruising slowing across the cold night sky. The pine trees in my front yard wore the snowfall with a serene beauty. My Mother smiles warmly while visiting the living room for lunch. The gift of a rose deepens the warmth of friendship. Trooper Cat basks in the warming gift of sunshine.

Holidays 2007

Family gathered at my home to celebrate Christmas. Four generations ages 15 months to 84 years. And Bella's t-shirt proclaiming "big sisters rule" announced the anticipated arrival of an August baby for Tim, Allison and Big Sis Izabella. Proud Aunt Beth -Me- is surrounded by her favorite kin; nieces and nephews. And that's Bella and Uncle Ryan making friends with "Rocky" the horse I gave Bella; she discovered Rocky under the dining room table whinnying &"wagging" her tail. No, that is not a flag Ryan has around his neck; that's the scarf - in IU colors - I knit for him. All the nefs & neis have scarves in school colors from me now. I think I will start Bella's now....what are Harvard's colors ?? In honor of Auld Lang what's -the -song, here's a photo of my MPlan co-workers; a hard working, intelligent and fun group of women I worked with for one sixth of my life. What a great work environment ! Bless them all in 2008 ! There's my cat Trooper posing in the window with Santa and that's Izabella caught in the act of snagging the TV remote. My Mother had a great Christmas with her small but mighty family (seen here beside the tree with granddaughter Lauren, grandson Ryan and son John ) celebrating together. Dear amigos Miranda and granddaughter Amazing Avree show off their beautiful smiles for my camera after the Birthday Party for Jesus celebration at our church.
Looking back(already! ) on 2007, I must be grateful for what was a year of ups and downs, laughter and tears, pain and progress. And looking forward, I will welcome 2008 thankful for health & home.
May God Bless Us All.
